He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Elder and Gladys Elder (Rittmeyer); his sister Edith Elder; and his half-brother Bruce Ostendorf. He is survived by: his wife Carol Godager; his daughter Heather Haun (Kevin); his grandchildren, Oakley, Oliver and Magnolia; his pet Macy; his cousins, Susie Cunningham and Carol Griffith; and his sister-in-law Marilyn Ostendorf.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Meadors Funeral Home - Republic Chapel (314 N Main Ave, Republic, MO 65738).
