He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glea and Mabel Kendrick (Sims); his wife Joyce Wormington Newton; his siblings, Glen, Marvin, Johnny, Billie, Vernon, Bobby, Jackie, Jeanetta and Velbra; and his grandson Will.
He is survived by: his children, Mike (Jana) of Republic, Richard of Dallas, TX, Patti (Carl Quisenberry) of Buffalo, Tim of Elwood and Matt (Katie) of Ozark; his stepchildren, Troy, Kenny, Twyla, Marvin, Jay and Melissa; and his grandchildren, Kurt, Kolby, Amy, Sean, Kristina, Ben, Elise, Erin, Lacy, April, Sunnie, Kolt, Keena, Maddie, Holden, Hayden, Miley, Brody, Madison, Reagan and Jackson. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
