It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Murphy (Republic, Missouri), born in Montgomery, Alabama, who passed away on August 13, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cebron Murphy and Virginia Hornsby Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Perdue Murphy; his brothers, Richard Murphy (Martha) and Bryan Murphy (Jill); his siblings-in-law, David Perdue (Patricia), Greg Perdue and Marie Perdue; his nieces and nephews, Shawn Murphy (Jennifer), Christopher Murphy (Karoline), Jonathan Murphy, Matthew Murphy, Michael Murphy, Jim Perdue (Mallory), Margaret Murphy Schuneman (Spencer) and Adrienne Perdue Golden (Wes); his uncle Lewis Murphy; and his aunts, June Mason (Ray), Janice Parker (Greg) and Patricia Ledbetter. He is also survived by nephews and 3 great nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
