He is survived by: his wife Cindy McKinney; his children, Lee Callahan, James McKinney III, Jacob McKinney and Savannah McKinney; and his siblings, Ada Chamless, Hazel Gardner and Raymond McKinney. He is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
