He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Evans; his parents, Lee Evans and Faye Evans; and his brother Gene Evans. He is survived by: his children, Cindy Zielonka (Mike) of Humble, TX and Steven Evans (Terry) of Springfield, Missouri; his nephew Jim Evans (Teri) of Springfield; his niece Nancy Johnson (Terry) of Hermitage, Missouri; and his great-niece Melanie Yunger (Casey) of Shawnee, Kansas..
