He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Edvina Chapman (Elmgren) and Eldon R. Chapman; his sisters, Clair L. Hirschkorn, Donna L. DeHart and Marjorie Adams; his son Rodney Eugene Chapman; and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Jo Chapman.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Esther Begley; his children, Robin Yocom (Bill) and Rollin Chapman (Kathy); his sister Beverly Clement (John); and also, Bill Thomsen (Debbie), Dr. Ben Yocom (Michelle), Bethany Durrer (Dan), Barry Yocom (Carlie), Dr. Jordan Chapman (Becca), Jayme Voliva (Paul), George Terlep (Julie) and Anna Terlep. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
The military honors was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Stumpff Funeral Home (214 N Commerce St, Crane, MO 65633). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Keystone Assembly of God (2731 State Hwy 248, Reeds Spring, MO 65737).
