He was predeceased by: his parents, James Quillen and Martha Quillen (Sifford); his wives, Shirley Ann Tilley and Nancy; his siblings, James Quillen, Alice, Altha Quillen and Eva; and his brother-in-law Virgil "Buddy" Alison.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Madden (Craig) of Boone and Cheryl "Cherie" Morrissey of Madrid, Iowa; his grandchildren, Christopher Ingram (Elisabeth Ross), Stacey Williams (Tommy) and Katie Morrissey (Garrett Pearson); his great grandchildren, Matthias Ingram and Fox Williams; his sister Mary Coleman (John); his niece Joni Nicoll (Steve); and his nephew Jim Coleman (Tina).
