It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Smith Jr. of Reeds Spring, Missouri, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith Sr. and Margaret Ann Smith (Duncan); his wife Claire Smith; his siblings, Alfred, Roland and Margaret; and his sons, Kenneth and James Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Smith (Jonette) of Republic, David Smith of Springfield, Missouri and Laura Wilson (Tom) of Reeds Spring, Missouri; and his daughter-in-law Mary Jane Smith of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; as well as many other extended family.
