She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Perry Hunter Sr. and Stella A. Berry; her former husband John Corkery; her husband Menford Smith; her children, Jerry Marvin Smith, Joan K. Maddox and Paula Delsina Corkery Smith; and her brothers, Benjamin Franklin Hunter and Lawrence M. Hunter Sr. Mable.
She is survived by: her children, John William Corkery Jr. of Redford, Thomas M. Smith (Katy) of Redford, Stanley Smith (Mary) of Mitchell, Terry Yvonne Arnzen (Jeffrey) of Scott City, Wanda M. McBride (Danny) of Benton and Stella Jane Talbert (Toady) of Windsor; and her siblings, Archie Windel Hunter of Jacksonville, Terry Hunter of Jacksonville, Luther Perry Hunter Jr. of Lebanon, Virginia A. Hunter of Niantic and Mae Smith of Decatur. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
