He was predeceased by: his parents, Inez Downer (Murphy) and George Downer; his former wife Shirley (Tackett); his children, Robert and Vicki Romang; and his sons-in-law, Lynn Hodges, Darrel Robb and Dewayne Hayes.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly (Covey); his daughters, Rita Hodges, Linda Robb, Connie Hayes and Jane Downer; and his stepchildren, Tina Dial (Mike), Delores Kinser, James Ballinger, David Ballinger (Susan), Michael Ballinger and Dale Ballinger (Lori). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Reno Ranch, 6219 Hwy T, Camden, Missouri 64017 in honor of Wayne.
