She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean Swafford and Ethel F. Swafford (Gulley); and her husband Carl Junior Swafford of Richmond. She is survived by: her children, Kenton Dean Swafford of Richmond and Carla Sue Young (Rick) of Flowery Branch, GA; her brother Richard Swafford (Dixie) of Rayville; her nieces, Staci Maddux (Dale) and Cindy Scott (Todd); and her nephew Reason Swafford (Jacki). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Richmond Ideal Industries.
