He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Lee and Juanita H. Barger, I (Humbard); his wife Barbara Jean Mann of Bloomington, IL; and his sister Martha Barger. He is survived by: his son Jesse Delbert Barger (Sarah) of Rayville; his sisters, Joyce Jacobs of Tebbetts and Nancy Basham (Tommy) of Kearney; and his granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Barger of Rayville.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association.
