She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Spangler and Mildred B. Spangler (Ludwig); her husband Rev. Norman Brice Goodman of Rayville; her son Michael Lee Goodman; her sisters, Cheryl Williams and Larissa Blackwell; and her great great grandchild Joseph Anthony DeAngelo.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Nelson (Rusty) of Rayville, Jeff Goodman (Joni) of Liberty and Danny Goodman (Risa) of Rayville; her grandchildren, Lindsey DeAngelo (Joseph), Bradley Nelson (Ryan), Michael Nelson (Jessica), Brock Goodman (Sarah), Evin Goodman, Amanda St (Benjamin), Aaron Goodman (Jordan) and Adam Goodman (Hailey); her great grandchildren, Joey (Chloe), Ivy (Jude), Raymond, Noah, Izaiah, Jesse, Tristan, Faith, Trinity, Mason, Elle, Crue, Vera, Jax, Grayson, Bowen, Asher and Mila; and her great great grandchildren, Georgia Mae, Selah and Sabella Rose. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thurman Funeral Home - Richmond (507 E Main St, Richmond, MO 64085). A funeral service was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Richmond Christian Chapel (801 Wollard Blvd, Richmond, MO 64085). A burial was held on Thursday, August 29th 2024 at the Crowley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude's Hospital for Children, in honor of her great-granddaughter, Elle.
