He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Cassity and Lois Cassity (Haley); and his brothers, Carl and Clyde Cassity. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Rae Sportsman of Rothville; his sons, Gary Cassity of Braymer and Greg Cassity of Rayville; his grandson Dillon Cassity of Braymer; his stepgrandchildren, Bryan Drew (Kathy), Bert Herring (Josh) and Kayla Byrd; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Colton, Addison, Dalton, Chase, DeNoble and Jarius; his sisters, Carol McFadden of Hoover, AL and Karen Nielson of St. Claire; and his daughter-in-law Linda Cassity.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Knoxville Cemetery.
