It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Venora V. Mays (Raytown, Missouri), born in Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Howard Brown Jr.; her father-in-law Billy Mays, Sr.; her brother Michael Gray; her grandmother Rosezina Gray; her uncles, Howard Gray Sr. and Quan Gray; her grandson Andrew Meyers Jr.; and her nephews, Quan Donnell and Michael Gray Venora.
She is survived by: her husband Billy Mays Jr.; her mother Catherine Gray; her children, Ramonda Suber, Artessa William (Kenneth Walton), Jamishia Williams (Romone Fisher) and Art Williams Jr.; and her sisters, Lynn Gray, Darlene Gray-Clayton, Tywan Clayton, Marva Gray and Cat Gray. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a large host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
