She was predeceased by: her husband Cecil Smith; her son Neal Smith; her parents, James Sears and Mary Ellen Scott Sears; and her siblings, Carrol Sears, James Haskell Sears, Latain Gilstrap, Allene Clayton and Vonda Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Kirn (Joe); her daughter-in-law Penny Smith; her grandchildren, Ali Weaver (Larry), Nicholas Smith (Claire), Ryan Smith, Nicole Cray (Travis), DJ Kirn (Mandy) and Victor Wagner; and her sisters, Velta Bales and Georgia Perryman. She is also survived by 9 great-grand children, 2 great-great grandchildren.
