We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2022, at the age of 97, Kathryn B. Douglas (Raytown, Missouri) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruno Ising and Alice Ising; her husband Howard Douglas; her son Dennis Douglas (Bussy); her siblings, Ed, Jack, Mike Ising and Ruth Ising Freund; and her sons-in-law, Michael Gnefkow Sr. and Joseph Gormly Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Susie Gnefkow, Kenny Douglas (Diane), Dianne Gormly and Greg Douglas (Podge); her sister Mary Alice Ising; and her grandchildren, Chris Gnefkow Hime (Phil), Michelle Gnefkow VanTrump (Kevin), Michael Gnefkow Jr. (Blanca), Damon Gormly, Matt Gormly (Kylie), Katie Gormly and Michelle Haag (Chuck). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to KC Hospice House-Wornall or the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation in honor of Luke Borgman.
