He was predeceased by: his mother Hazel Christy; and his brother Terry Wayne Christy. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie June Fischer; his children, Tammy Bachman (Andy), Todd Christy and Scott Gipson (Melanie); and his grandchildren, Alison Bachman, Emma Bachman, Branton Christy, Myla Christy and Violet Gipson.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newcomer's Floral Hills Funeral Home (7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation or Baker University.
