Elonda Decole Brown Obituary

Elonda Decole Brown left this world on July 28, 2022, at the age of 48 with her family by her side at Kansas City Hospice House.

Elonda was born on May 19, 1974, in Kansas City Mo to Carol Brown. John Rowden (Father) walked into Elonda's life when she was 3 months old. Elonda graduated from Northeast High School in 1992.

Elonda was a very sweet, humble, but proud person. She never asked for anything, she would rather do without than ask for a handout. On the other hand, she would give you the shirt off her back. Elonda was lovable always laughing, but don't get on her nerves or try to bully her because she will give you a piece of her mind. Elonda enjoyed her solace, she would prefer to sit at home than be around a lot of people, so consider it a privilege when she allows you into her world.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Mable and Rudolph Brown; aunt, Michelle Brown; and uncle, Michael Brown.

Elonda leaves to mourn the passing of her mother, Carol Brown; father, John Rowden (Terri); two sisters, Roshelle White (Johnny White) and Tamekia Brown; two sons, Phillip Cothran Jr, and Derius Brown; and a bundle of grandkids: Eliyah, La'Vonna, Derrius Jr, DeVon Davizzino, Davorion; aunts and uncles, Linda Williams, Gloria Mondaine, Patricia Williams (Paul), Maureen Rivers (Floyd), Kenneth Brown (Karen), Gregory Brown (Belinda), Christopher Brown (Debbie), and Timothy Brown (Cheryl); nieces and nephew, Ariana Slader (DJ), Ronald White, and Jayonna Still; several cousins, and a host of friends.

We know that we can't have you but we're happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother.
