She was predeceased by: her brother Joseph Gregory. She is survived by: her husband Dewey H. Byrd; her sons, Lee Williams Jr. and Kwasi J. Byrd of Kansas City, KS; her grandson Jayden "Jay" Byrd of Kansas City, KS; her siblings, Laura A. Thomas of Des Moines, IA and Emanuel Gregory, Jr. (Thelma) of Kansas City, KS; her sisters-in-law, Narene Crosby (Melvin) and Annette Taylor (Curtis); and her goddaughter Edwina Scroggins of Kansas City, KS. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Oasis Church (11500 E 53rd St, Raytown, MO 64133). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
