She is survived by: her husband Ivory Brown; her mother Reva Burgess; her siblings, Gwendol McDaniel (Albert) and Robert Burgess; her nephews, Rylee Burgess and Jason McDaniel (Anzie); her great-nephews, Solomon and Johnny Howard; her niece Monica Howard (Johnny); her great-niece Journee Howard; her aunts and uncles, Myrtle Harris (RC), Mozell Rogers (LeRoy), Gosievel Calvin, Jo Francis Slaughter, Betty Ross, Clarnece Lanier (Delores), Willie Woods (June), Eddie Woods (Dasiey), Oliver Fisher and Joe Woods; and her close friend Leon Woods.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watkins Heritage Chapel (4000 Emanuel Cleaver II Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64130). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
