He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Mae (Schmidt) and Quinton Lohrentz; his stepfathers, Galen Becker and Milton Haugsness; his stepsister Debbie Goering; and also Quinton.

He is survived by: his aunts, Nora Jane Schmidt (Inman) and Mary Mae Schmidt (Buhler). He is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Memorials may be made to Wayside Waifs.
