He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Anthony Bittner and Anna Mae Bittner (Leitner); his siblings, Mary Fobes and Tom Bittner; and his uncle Monsignor John Leitner.
He is survived by: his wife Judy; his daughters, Jan Hays (Mark) and Patsy Thieme (Tim); his grandchildren, Ashley Schmidt (Matt), Tristan Thieme and Emma Thieme; his great grandchildren, Caleb Hays, Noah Cockman and Madisyn Cockman; his siblings, Catherine Indzers (Val) and Steve Bittner; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Welborn, Kathy Rogers, Tom Reynolds (Becky) and Steve Reynolds (Jeni). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family requests that donations in Chuck's memory can be made to American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
