He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Hunter Coulter and Charles P. Coulter; his brother Willie T. Horn; and his great-nephew Marcus Brice. He is survived by: his wife Isabelle Abarr; his daughter Maureen Elizabeth Coulter (Drew Clark) of Kansas City, KS; his grandsons, Khalil and Holden; his son Michael Charles Coulter of Grandview, MO; his great grandchild MaryAlice Rose Coulter of East Lansing, MI; his siblings, T. Marie Harris of Tulsa, OK and James D. Coulter (Carolyn) of Tulsa, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Ingram, Andy Abarr, Weldon Abarr, Charles Abarr and Russell Abarr. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Passantino Bros. Funeral Home (2117 Independence Ave, Kansas City, MO 64124). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church (5814 Euclid Ave, Kansas City, MO 64130).
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Emergency Assistance Fund at St. Therese Little Flower Parish; Catholic Charities; the United Negro College Fund; or mental health research.
