She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlene Boddy and Donald Wayman Tann; her husband Fred L. Cowart; her son Donald; her close friend Larry; and her daughter-in-law Margaret Ann.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Cowart and Susan Cowart.
