He was predeceased by: his parents, Delores "Dody" Root and Everett Larned of Raytown; and his siblings, Lee Larned, Dale Larned, Laura Hamilton, Jane Robb, Lynn Larned and Sue Larned.
He is survived by: his aunt Lavern Gunter; his wife Janet Larned; his children, Chad Larned (Jennifer), Trisha Larned, Adam Petrie (Andro), Sean Petrie (Diane), Gabriel Larned (Amanda) and Alana Larned (Andrew); his grandchildren, Julia Thomas, Kirstyn, Hannah Trigg, Victor, Carmen Larned, Penelope Sohl, Jack, Emery, Levi Petrie and Gryffin Klump; and his great grandchild Eleanor Thomas.
