He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George F. Capehart and Bertha Capehart; his grandson Corey; his daughters, Marcie Calvin (Larry) of Pleasant Hill and Mindy Capehart of Overland Park, Kansas; his grandchildren, Luke Calvin (Jen), Ashleigh Goddard (Nathan), Kyle Richardson (Jessica), Johnny Hix and Abby Hix; and his great grandchildren, Grey, Reese Calvin, Cal, Chloe Goddard, Nash and Cohen Richardson. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Kansas City Hospice House and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
