She was predeceased by: her mother Leona F. Garland; her husband Larry Purvis; her parent Oris Garland; and her siblings, Sandra "Sandy" Swenson and David Garland.
She is survived by: her stepdaughters, Joy Purvis and Dawn Lyles (Steven); her grandchildren, Brett Reynolds (Jessica), Dylan Hays, Shelby Shelkett (Chad), Shayla Legg (Jordan) and Chase Lyles; and her brothers, Dennis Garland (Vickie), John Garland (Sarah) and Tony Garland (Tisha). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, eight nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
