She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Gonterman and Jenny Gonterman (Henry); her husband Duane T. Nelson; her grandson Dewayne Townsend; her great grandchild Kaleigh B. Grime; and her siblings, Bill, Gilbert Gonterman, Mary Beth Pittman and Donna Kay Weisley.
She is survived by: her children, Edgar Townsend (Linda), Marian Wilcox (Raleigh) and Tammy Townsend (Dennis Musch); her grandsons, James Lawson (Sarah), Curtis Lawson (Ashley) and Craig Grimes; and her great grandchildren, Cody, Abbie, Ethan, Owen, Grayson, Silas, Sterling, Makennah and Macee.
