He was predeceased by: his parents, Monte Vernon and Leona Mae Cushman (Scott); his siblings, Bob Cushman (Deborah) and Sandra Antrim (Tom); and his son Clay.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Maddox (Morrison); his children, Cole, Monte Cushman and Lana Maddox of Raymore, MO; his sister-in-law Deborah Cushman of Lee's Summit, MO; his grandchildren, Damon Maddox of Belton, MO, David Maddox (Renae) of Pleasant Hill, MO, Jessica Wineinger (Kyle) of Raytown, MO, Ciara Maddox of Harrisonville, MO, Zach Oldham (Tayler) and Tim Cushman of Foley, AL; his daughters, Leslie Chamers (Eric) and Allison Tinkler; and also, Cole Maddox (Deanna) of Belton, MO and Monte Cushman (Christa) of Foley, AL. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
The family suggests donations to the Gideons International and/or the Lord of Love Lutheran Church of Raymore, MO.
