He was predeceased by: his parents, Elton Miller and Frankie Frederick Miller; his wife Marilyn Miller; and his siblings, Don Miller, Margaret Garrett, Ruth Beatty, Hope Koenig and Jean Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Miller (Shandra) of Raymore, Missouri and Keli Miller of Overland Park, Kansas; his siblings, Lois Simpson of Belton, Sharon Kellogg (C. J.) of Butler, Missouri and Jack Miller (Joan) of Independence, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Robert Skyler Sutton Miller, Tanna Ann Miller and John Tucker Bradley Miller. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
