With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard L. Barnett of Raymore, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Richard left this world on January 1, 2025 at the age of 93, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Barnett; his son Stephen Barnett; and his parents, Fred and Floretta. He is survived by: his children, Rick Barnett (Malinda) of Lees Summit, MO and Angela Gomez (Fernando) of Overland Park, KS; his daughter-in-law Debbie Barnett of Collinsville, IL; and his grandsons, Logan and Landon. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (2705 MO-100, Gray Summit, MO 63039). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Brush Creek Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Gray Summit.
