He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Richard Barnes and Thelma Barnes (Skinner). He is survived by: his children, Matthew R. Brallier (Virginia), Richard Leon Barns, Cheryl Vandruff, Elizabeth Whitehead and Anita Barnes; his sister Ruth Fortner (Dewey); and his grandchildren, Matthew A. Brallier, Dustin Whitehead, Jessica Vandruff, Cassie Mossinghoff, Brandon Whitehead and Allison Vandruff. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
