He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Scrivener and Ica Scrivener; and his siblings, Ova Franz Scrivener, James Olin Scrivener, Orbert Dean Scrivener, Oliver Earl Scrivener and Iva Rosalie Dowell.
He is survived by: his wife Lora Scrivener (Reynolds); his children, Otha Kenneth Scrivener Jr., Dennis Michael Scrivener, Sharon Kay Ramsey, Jeri Ellen Moran (Daniel) and Jacqulyn Marie Scrivener; and his brother Orlin Robert Scrivener (Nancy). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
