She was predeceased by: her parents, Miner Merrick and Elizabeth Merrick; her son William Bradford "Brad" Diley; and her husband Captain Lewis E. She is survived by: her former spouse Ensign Lewis E. Diley (Lew); her children, Cynthia Elizabeth "Cynder" Diley Pilkington, James "Jimbo" Diley and Elizabeth Eaton "Betsey" Diley Seymour; her goddaughter Constance Sarah "Sally" Snyder; and her sister Cynthia Pyle. She is also survived by 3 children and a goddaughter, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
