It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miller Jean Rainey of Raymore, Missouri, born in Eufaula, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, may Miller Jean find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may her legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Warren and Ethel Warren; and her siblings, Leamon Polk, Johnny Warren, Jr., Climmie Warren, Gladys Hodges and Thelma Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Smith (Johnnie), Pamela Pearson and Terrie Payne. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Palestine Missionary Baptist Church of Jesus Christ (3619 E 35th St, Kansas City, MO 64128). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at the Memorial Park Cemetery (8251 Hillcrest Rd, Kansas City, MO 64138).
