He was predeceased by: his former wife Jeanne Hand Bailey; his parents, Guy Hunter Bailey and Frances Corrine Bailey; his siblings, Dorothy Bailey Staton (Dot) and John Wesley Bailey; and his stepson David Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Rosalee Ann Walker Bailey; his daughters, Marcia Jeanne Bailey of Fairway and Lynn Bailey Kruse (Kevin) of Overland Park, Kan.; his grandchildren, Alison Jeanne Kruse of Manhattan, N. Y. and Austin Joseph Kruse of Overland Park, Kan.; his stepchildren, Steve Walker, Leanne Barry (Jim) of Lake Winnebago and Mary Walker of Raymore; his niece Sandy Parker; and his nephew Randy Staton.
He died at Belton (Mo.) Regional Medical Center from complications of COVID-19, his family said.
In lieu of flowers the family would suggest a memorial donation to the Beta Sigma Phi American flag project.
