He was predeceased by: his parents, Melford T. Ash-Keeton and Mable A. Ash-Keeton (Cline); his brothers, Virgil Ash, Clifford Ash, Ernest Ash, Walter Ash, John Ash and Donald Ash; his stepbrother Larry Keeton; his sisters, Bernice Christian and Margaret Ash; and his stepsisters, Fern Keeton and Evelyn Keeton.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Lorene Retherford; his children, Lloyd Ash of Raymore, LaDonna Garrison (Randy) of Pleasant Hill, LaVonna Malott (Gene) of Blue Springs and LaRonda Catanzaro (Kevin) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, Rachael (Brad), Rebecca (Zach), Derek, Tony (Tori), Jessica, Atean (Nicole), Chayton and Hunter; his great grandchildren, Haley, Trent, Brent, Morgan, Deegan, Kennedy, Iva, Leeann, Audra, Reed, Shinia, Amara, Neena and Baby Willis; and his siblings, Arnold Ash (Linda) of Tonasket, Washington, Bill Keeton (Nancy) of Tonasket, Washington, Margie Weaver (Bob) of Warsaw and Anna Hamerick of Odessa. He is also survived by his brothers, son, sons-in-law, and grandsons.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Awareness Association or St. Croix Hospice and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
