He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Byron Sherman and Ann Elizabeth Sherman (Gremminger). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sherman (Cawood); his children, Keith Sherman (Gloria), Kirk Sherman and Amy Sherman; his grandchildren, Hannah, Levi, Joel, Hope and Charity; and his great grandchildren, River and Galen.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cullen Funeral Home, Inc. (612 W Foxwood Dr, Raymore, MO 64083). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
