He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuben Halsne and Agnes Halsne; his sister Thelia Halsne; and his grandson Garrett Geis. He is survived by: his wife Carol Halsne; his children, Traci Ring (Jeremy), Shelley Geis Waters (Jason) and Michael Halsne; and his grandchildren, Brennan Ring, Cameron Ring and Rhiannon Ring.
