With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Jernigan of Raymore, Missouri, born in Sulphur, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 13, 2021 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Howard Jernigan to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Jernigan and Ruth Jernigan (Matthews); and his sister Peggy Bell. He is survived by: his wife Marlys Jernigan; his children, Travis Jernigan and Tina Jernigan; his stepchildren, Brian Dietz, Scott Holder (Kristina) and Gina Williams; and his brother Doug Jernigan (Shirley). He is also survived by seven grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care, 14310 E 42 St S #600, Independence, MO 64055 or Belton-Grandview Masonic Lodge #450, 307 N. Scott Ave., Belton, MO 64012.
