It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen B. Lester of Raymore, Missouri, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Casteel Sr. and Eva L. Casteel (Martin); and her brother Lloyd Casteel. She is survived by: her daughter Shelly Lester (Kieth) of Sugar Creek; her significant other Thomas Edwards of Raymore; her daughter Lisa Cameron (Kan) of Kansas City; her siblings, Betty Mooreof and Jesse Casteel Jr. (Candy) of Kansas City; her nieces and nephews, Diann Bonner (Eric) of Blue Springs and Thomas Edwards (Amy) of Raymore; her great-niece Beth Anne Cook (Bonner); her aunt Virginia Martin of Sun City, Ariz.; and her grandchildren, Corey1 Trenary of Independence, Tyler Bloss of Independence, Aiden Bloss of Independence, Mason Bloss of Independence, Amanda (Bloss) Barrow (CJ) of Independence, Sara Brown of Windsor, Rachel Northeutt, Kan, Jessica Ball of Kansas City and Breanna Cam. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.
