He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Stephenson and Alma Stephenson (Jolliff); his siblings, Edward Dale Stephenson and Wanda Ruth Warren; and his nephew Terrance.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Jean (Cowick); his children, Terrance Dale, Tamela Jean (Before), Michael Stephenson (Tami) and Tammy Schroer (Ron); and his grandchildren, Matthew Stephenson, Mitchell Jeck (Dionne), Jennifer Jensen (Aaron), Anthony Guss (Tiffany), Jeremy Stephenson (Patty), Rachel Corr (Kevin), Jennifer Smith (Zach), Bethany Schroer and Zach Schroer. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
