He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William W. Bishop and Mina Mae Bishop; his wife Patricia Wyman; his brother Howard W Bishop; his children, Kenneth Bishop (Crystal) of Raymore and Susan McCune (Doug) of Green Valley; his grandchildren, Bret Bishop and Kendra Sherwood (Zach); his great grandchildren, Odin Bishop and Jane Andy Sherwood; and his sister Helen Hatz of Kansas City. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Elmer's memory to the Grandview Salvation Army.
