He is survived by : his parents, Mike Cronk and Linda Cronk; his children, Bailee, Blake, and Brett Cronk; his girlfriend Kristyn Spiller; her children, Pyper and Londyn Spiller; his sisters, Sherri Purett and Carla McArthur (James); and his nieces and nephews, Preston, Paige, Porche', Parker, Emilee, Elliette and Duncan.

“My deepest sympathy to all of the family and Kristyn. Daryl had contacted me 2 yrs ago and said: "Let's do lunch". He wanted to hear stories of my days as batboy for the Kansas City Athletics (1956-57). We met and he was all ears and his big smile. I brought with me and shared my Mickey Mantle bat, signed by the New York Yankees team. I gave him 2 items: a 1957 team picture of the KC A's ( I'm on the first row) & a X-A's autograph 1956 pic.ture in front of the old ball park.”
