He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Schneider and Geraldine Schneider (Eckhart). He is survived by: his spouse Rosalynn Eck; his son Bret Jefferson; his siblings, Gina Hult, Gerry Schneider and Ted Schneider; and his granddaughter Claire Jefferson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, in laws, business partners.
