He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Chaffin; and his parents, Allen Chaffin and Elizabeth Chaffin. He is survived by: his children, Charles M Chaffin (Barbie) and Constance Evelyn Chaffin; his brother Robert F. Chaffin; and his grandchildren, Catherine Paige Chaffin, Ciara Noel Chaffin and Cassandra Evelynn Chaffin.
