Byron Gilbreath Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byron Gilbreath (Raymore, Missouri), born in Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on January 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce and Fannie (Hall); and his siblings, Ollene Alexander, Eula Mae Radford, Pauline Murray and Carroll Gilbreath.

He is survived by: his former wife Joyce Elma Macy; his children, Carol Lee (Wade) and Dale Evan; his daughter-in-law Robin; his grandchildren, Aikin and Aaron Aikin (Danielle); his great grandchildren, Hawkins, Mckenzie, Macy and Nathan Gilbreath; his nieces, Marsha Schilb (Larry), Cynthia Murray and Mary Ellen Young (Don); his wife Suzanne Gordon; his stepdaughter Lynette (Mark); and his son Tim (Janice). He is also survived by numerous cousins and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, plus a great number of friends.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Byron may be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church or the "Fellowship of John" (a charitable fund used for the benefit of Foxwood Springs residents who have outlived their financial resources, PO Box 701 Raymore, MO 64083).
