He was predeceased by: his parents, Vadilal Patel and Savita Patel. He is survived by: his wife Amita Patel; his children, Janki Patel and Shivesh Patel (Unnati Patel); and his siblings, Ramesh Patel (Shobhna Patel), Pravin Patel (Nita Patel), Bharti Patel (Ramesh Kumar Patel) and Dipti Patel (Mahesh Kumar Patel).
