Louise Lowe wrote a sympathy message

“My heart is saddened by the news of Anita's passing. She was my Blue Grass friend. Words cannot express how much she will be missed by myself and her friend Maxine. She was always so cheerful and loving, a great hostess, loved her beautiful smile. She added so much to all of us. Loved her. Louise Lowe and Maxine Kellam”
